NYFW: What I Wore

Call me crazy you guys but I definitely packed a huge roller bag for 2 days of Fashion Week and I am not ashamed. I came to slay and did just that.

Disclaimer: This post is not sponsored by Francesca’s I just love their clothes and always have. I have always had the best experiences with their stylists and if it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t have found a few of these pieces that made my wardrobe look so good. The pieces are always adorable and affordable.

Sorry about the low quality this is a screenshot from a Boomerang. I love the LLR Cassie with a knotted t-shirt and bralette. I size up in my t-shirt to make the knot. The simple style is comfortable and cute making it perfect for travel. I felt like I killed my entrance into the city with some chic business casual(be on the lookout for this trend this fall!).

I love these maxi rompers you guys! I felt like I was slaying the streets and of NYC as if they were a runway. Rompers are comfortable on their own but then add the maxi style and it just adds a whole new element. This embroidery adds so much to this outfit that accessories would take away from it. I enjoyed the fashion show almost as much as I did the compliments on this look.

I’m calling this my casual chic cocktail look aka my party attire and I am living for it. Every time I see my dress I want to be in NYC drinking rose with my Style Collective blogger babes.

This is my walking through the city being a tourist look. It was kind of chilly because hello fall but I love boots and jackets so I couldn’t complain.

While my clothes were the main event I have to give a special shout out to the people who make me feel beautiful in my clothes.ย

Haley(@weekend_nails) at Holy Chic(@holychicfxbg) keeps my nails looking bomb 24/7 and this matte black and marble look was the perfect set for NYFW. In the coming posts you’ll see these bad gals a lot as I took photos of them literally everywhere. If you’re in the area of DC/VA book an appointment with any of the fabulous people at Holy Chic here and get nailed by the best around.

Thank you Kailey from Golden Glo Heated Airbrush(@goldengloairbrush) for keeping me bronzed and beautiful. There is nothing worse that the idea of looking pale for the NYFW paparazzi. I love to get sprayed(in my house hollaa) and let my fresh spray do it’s thing while I catch up on emails and blog posts.

I dyed my hair for the first time a few months ago and am still beyond in love with it. Sara(@hairbysar__) at Tulip Salon and Spa(an Aveda salon) did an amazing job and I still am receiving compliments on it. I was terrified when I walked in but I walked out feeling confident and beautiful.
