New York Fashion Week is a crazy time for bloggers and that is why I have been away this week. I was given the amazing opportunity to attend this year and couldn’t be more thankful. Because of my crazy non blog schedule, I could only attend for 2 days but trust me, when in NYC 2 days can be packed full of everything you could dream of.
NYC is a place I have always loved and been twice! Jesse is a great sport about all of my ventures and is a huge supporter of my blog. He drives even though the traffic is enough to age someone about 30 years and I appreciate that.
Because of all of the craziness, my NYFW recap is going to be split into multiple posts but they will all by out by the end of the week to make up for my lack of posts the week before. We are kicking things off with where we went!
This is the view from our hotel room(yes that is the Empire State Bulding). We stayed at the Hilton in the Fashion District and the people there were very kind and accomodating. I would definitely stay here again and it was within 5 miles of all of the events. I loved all of the high fashion details and the fact that you have to swipe your room key to access the guest floors(super safe for solo gals!). If you’re in the area check out the hotel’s restaurant Rare and their rooftop bar for unbeatable views.
The E.L.F. Cosmetics pop up in Times Square was a make up lovers dream. Filled with gorgeous new product and long time favorites you can’t go wrong here. Check out the rest of my thoughts here.
I love all of the street art you can find in the city. We stumbled upon this while looking for bagels but I love it. It is a literal symbol of hope. I totally believe this has the ability to lift people up and make them feel good. Everyone gets a little lost sometimes and I love the idea of someone finding this exactly when they need it.
Being the trendy lady I am of course no trip would’ve been complete without a visit to the Insta-famous ChaCha Matcha. Adorned with pink and tropical details aka something I love, I could not pass up the opportunity to see it. I got the matcha milkshake with the cutest pink whipped cream and it tasted as good as it looked!
