My Thoughts on Fenty Beauty

For being primairly a fashion blogger, a suprising amount of beauty-blogger things have come my way. This has led me to love makeup and improve my skills. I am by no means a beauty guru but I like to think I know my way around a little. I am super excited to share my thoughts on Fenty Beauty with you today. For those of you who don’t know, Fenty Beauty is singer(and #GirlBoss) Rihanna’s make up line carried exclusively by Sephora.

The Pro Filt’r foundation is the literal I am obsessed with the way the applies and stays on my face. It is a buildable coverage(I always build it to be full coverage because that’s the type of gal I am) and lasts all day long. I also love that Rihanna made so many shades to be all inclusive, something many makeup brands sadly don’t do.

Fenty’s foundation brush works wonders as well. I love the weight of the brush during application and the bristles are soft yet firm for an even application everytime. If you are looking to build your coverage to full and look like the matte godess you are then I’d for sure use this brush(but a beauty blender works great as well)

One of my favorite makeup items are highlighters. There is something about a good glow that makes a girl feel like she can take on the world. I love the Killawatt Frestyle Highlighter Duo for the ultimate glow. I have the duo in shades Mean Money and Hu$tla Baby that included an everyday wear highlight and a highlight to show the world the bad(glowin’) b*tch you are.

The Gloss Bomb is a universal lip gloss that looks great on every skin tone(it’s true). I love my gloss bomb for a simple lip when I have bolder eyes or just don’t want a whole lot of color. It is also a nice mix up from my regular liquid lipstick; it gets old having the same matte lip everyday.

New for her holiday collection, Rihanna added in a few more glosses but this time they are colored. I love the tints on the two I have which are Gal on the Moon and Astro-naughty. The Cosmic lip Glitters I expected to be very sheer like the gloss bomb but they pack some pigment and the colors are perfect for the fall and winter(or if you’re like me, you wear the same berries and nudes year-round).

Also new with the holiday collection is the Galaxy Eyeshadow Pallete. Normally, I don’t do a lot of shadows just because I don’t have big eyelids and I use huge lashes but I couldn’t resist this one. The colors are all sparkly and gorgeous and I cannot wait to see the looks that come out of this pallette. Again I find this to be a pallette with something for everyone and every shade.

One thing I love about Fenty is that the quality and brand in general are very high end but for being a high end brand, the prices can’t be beat. You get quite a bit of product for the price you pay and like I said, the quality is unbeatable. Major props to Rihanna for creating a badass, all-inclusive line.

That is all I have to share today, I hope you enjoyed my reviews and I look forward to doing more of these in the future.
